This is embarrassing but my phone just got reconnected after Rogers cut the cord four days ago. This isn’t a huge problem, because it’s not like I’m about to get evicted or anything, like, I have a gym membership and shit, I’m just stupid about paying my bills bills bills. I discovered that this “Rosanna Arquette film” existed like a month ago and it’s finally arrived on my roommates subscription to a Canadian version of Netflix. I think it’s basically a doc featuring these ladies bitching (justifiably) about how there are no good roles for women after 35. I’m sure people like Meg Ryan and Gwyneth have encountered some serious ageism, but like, is Sharon Stone seriously going to blame her career on this? Srs LOLz @ Ol’ Ice Pick if that happens. From watching the trailer, it also looks like Martha Plimpton is drunk at a dinner party at one point? I’m pretty comfortable predicting that this is going to be my new favorite movie for life.

GP from New Year’s 2008. This is me and my friend Sasha in Sloane Square in London. We were obviously just clownin’ with those poses, but to be honest I did pretty much feel like I’d achieved international glamour model status that day. It was the first (any only) time I’d ever been overseas and our friend Dan got us hooked up with a nice apartment in a swank part of town I assume only Sting’s friends and Lily Allen’s dad can afford to live in.

I should also mention that I’m a huge loser for New Year’s and some serious reminiscing could be taking place here for the next three weeks. SAWRRY!

What you’re looking at here is the mess I plan on cleaning up tonight. Sometimes when you’re 27 you have to force yourself to clean your room because your mom isn’t around and if you don’t, instead of going to bed hating your mom, you’ll go to bed hating yourself (i hardly ever hate my mom anymore, she’s adorable). That said, I’m obviously the kind of guy who’s hung on to a blue iMac for about 7 years too long because one of these days I’ll actually transfer the entire Veruca Salt discography (including everything recorded post-Nina Gordon/Louise Post breakup) to my real computer, so it’s not certain that this will actually get done. Sometimes though, that computer comes in handy for when I want to pretend I’m Liz Parker writing in my LiveJournal about my alien king boyfriend Max Evans, so maybe the mess will prove useful as well. How do you throw out bins?

What I hate most about this tiled mosaic of my tumblr is that there are as many picture of Frank from 30 Rock as there are of Beyonce (1). What I love most about it is that it isn’t just a bunch of pictures of shirts and shoes I would like to buy. Look at the way Keke Palmer stands out from the crowd!
